Fitting
Clean the button face first – any dust trapped underneath shows through the clear film and will not come out. Place the protector centred on the button, press from the middle outwards to push the air to the edge, then let it settle before using the deck. Take your time on the centring: an offset protector catches the ring around the button as it travels.

Will it affect how the button feels?
The film is thin and sits within the button’s travel, so the press and click are unchanged.
Can I remove it later?
Yes – lift from the edge. It is designed to come off cleanly, which is the point: you replace the protector, not the button.
