When the screen on your Pioneer DJ player or controller cracks, fades, or stops responding to touch, you usually do not need a new unit – you need the display module. Two parts fail in practice: the LCD assembly that shows the waveform and track data, and the touch digitizer that registers your taps.
Which part do I need?
- Touch Screen Digitizer – the unit powers on and shows a picture, but taps do not register, or the glass is cracked. Digitizer only; the LCD panel is not included.

Fitting notes
Disconnect power before opening the unit and work on an anti-static surface. Keep the ribbon cable flat when routing it back into the connector. No soldering is required on the parts pictured. Allow 30-60 minutes; a repair shop will usually be faster.
Replacing the touch digitizer only fixes input – if the picture itself is dead, choose the LCD assembly instead.
