A channel fader with a missing cap is unusable – you end up pushing the bare stem with a fingernail. These are the replacement slider caps for mixer and audio-interface faders, in eleven colours so you can match the original look or colour-code your channels.

Check the slot before ordering
This cap uses a 1 x 4 mm slot, not a round bore. Measure the tang on your fader stem: if it is a flat blade about 1 mm thick and 4 mm wide, this is the right cap. Caps with a round hole are for rotary pots and will not grip a fader.
Why four at a time
Fader caps wear together – every channel on the same mixer has had exactly the same use, and the crossfader usually goes at the same time as the channel faders. Buying four means the whole strip still matches, and you are not paying a second courier fee for one cap six months later.
Fitting
Pull the old cap straight up off the tang. Slide the new one on until it seats – it only goes on one way, with the indicator line facing you. If it feels loose, the slot is worn rather than the cap: check the tang before assuming the cap is wrong.
FAQ
Will this fit a Pioneer channel fader?
It fits faders with a 1 x 4 mm flat tang, which covers most mixer and audio-interface faders. Check the stem before ordering.
Is this a knob cap or a fader cap?
A fader cap – it has a slot, not a round bore, and is 20 x 9 mm rather than round.
How many caps do I get?
Four – this listing is a 4-pack in the colour you choose.
