Cap sets for Pioneer mixers and all-in-one units – the replaceable plastic parts, not the pots underneath. If a cap has split, gone missing or worn its indicator line away, this is the fix, and at four to a pack you can do a whole channel strip at once.
Three types – check which one you need
- EQ knob cap – the small ribbed cap on the high / mid / low controls. 16 mm tall, 6 mm bore, with a coloured indicator line moulded into the top so you can see the position in a dark booth.
- Fader cap – the push-on cap on the channel and crossfaders. 19 mm wide, slotted so it clips onto the fader stem rather than screwing on.
- Master volume knob – the larger cap on the master level control, in grey or black to match the factory look.
Mixing them up is the usual mistake: an EQ cap will not sit on a fader stem, and a fader cap is far too wide for an EQ pot.

Why four at a time
Caps fail as a set, not one at a time – the same age, the same cleaning products, the same wear. Buying four costs barely more than one once the parcel is on its way, and it means every control on the strip matches.
Fitting
Pull the old cap straight up off the shaft – do not twist, or you can turn the pot past its stop. Push the new cap on until it seats; the flat inside the bore lines up with the flat on the shaft and it only fits one way.
FAQ
Do I get the potentiometer as well?
No – caps only. If the control feels scratchy or drops out when you touch it, the pot itself needs replacing.
Will these fit my mixer?
They fit the standard 6 mm D-shaft EQ pots and push-on fader stems used across Pioneer mixers and all-in-one units. Check the shaft type on your unit before ordering.
